The doors are set to open to the public for the first time at 7am on Saturday, June 4, and we can’t wait to celebrate! As a valued member of the Bay Pavilions Family, we are especially excited to start your new swim lesson journey with us and have put together the following information to help you and your family make a splash from your first lesson and beyond …
  • What to bring | Bathers, towel, water bottle, goggles, dry clothes, swim nappy (for infants) and your access card
  • Swim School Access Cards are now available for collection from our friendly team at Reception. Your personalised access card gives you access to the Bay Pavilions each time you visit.
  • First 500 Swim Packs are also available from Reception for the first 500 students enrolled. These include your exclusive first 500 member merchandise.
  • When you arrive look for our on-deck Swim Captain to help guide you to your instructor. We encourage you to arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure our classes can start on time.
  • Stay and play after your lesson! The fun doesn’t have to stop once your lesson is over. Make the most of your visit and enjoy a casual swim, our splash pads or for the more daring, one of our exhilarating water slides!
  • Keep Watch Policy we’re proud to be a Keep Watch Facility, at the Bay Pavilions . Help us keep everyone safe in and around the water by following Royal Life Saving Australia’s Keep Watch guideline.
    • Children aged 0 to 5 years and non swimmers – Stay within arm’s reach at all times (children aged under 5 will be issued a pink wrist band at reception or available at the turnstile entry. These wristbands will help to identify them to lifeguards, these must always be worn whilst swimming including participating in swimming lessons)
    • Children aged 6 to 10 years – Be close, be prepared & maintain constant visual contact
    • Children aged 11 to 14 years – Maintain visual contact at all times Pool safety is everyone’s responsibility and together we can create a fun, safe environment for all!
  • Find out more about our Keep Watch guidelines.
  • Plan your visit and view the Facility opening hours.

The fun is still loading in some areas …

We ask that you please follow all signage and staff instructions when moving around the centre, including the following:

The reception area and program room is enjoying a little extra sunshine at the moment. Our new blinds are set to be installed soon after our opening.

For daring thrill seekers, our indoor water slides will be in full action from Day 1, with our outdoor slides preparing to open mid-June.

If you have any questions ahead of your first lesson, please reach out to our friendly (and super excited) Head of Swim School, Cory Dimmer at cory.dimmer@alignedleisure.com.au

Mark your lesson date in your calendar, get your swim bag at the ready, and get set to start a lifelong love of swim and water safety as we create history here at the Pav – we can’t wait to see you here!
